Hope is a Powerful Medicine
With the latest advancements in technology for treating neurological conditions, our team of experts is offering our patients with brain and spinal conditions one of medicine’s greatest remedies — hope.
Here, we put minimally invasive technology to work for you and your loved ones, all with the compassionate guidance and care you deserve to feel like yourself again.
Technology That Helps You Heal
- Artificial Intelligence for Faster Stroke Care
-
When a stroke happens, every minute counts to save a life. That’s why our team uses the Viz.ai suite of artificial intelligence systems to help identify and treat strokes as soon as possible.
A system that reimagines stroke care, Viz.ai uses artificial intelligence to alert stroke teams of suspected large vessel occlusion strokes, leading to faster care and better outcomes.
- Minimally Invasive Brain Surgery (MIBS)
-
Minimally invasive neurosurgery can help reduce your surgical risks and set you on a path to a speedier recovery. That’s why our neurosurgeons are experts in a variety of MIBS treatments.
Some of the many innovative MIBS treatments and technologies we offer include:
Endoscopic Transsphenoidal Surgery
This surgery allows surgeons to reach tumors, like pituitary tumors, through your nasal cavity. By doing brain surgery through the nose, they can avoid large incisions and reduce the risk of complications.
Intraoperative CT and MRI
Our advanced medical imaging allows your surgeon to create detailed pictures of your brain during surgery. The real-time imagery increases the surgeon’s ability to completely remove your tumor or abnormality.
When you turn to us, you can feel confident you’re getting some of the most advanced neurological care in the area.

Smaller incisions. Reduced muscle damage. Lowered risk of infection. These are some of the many benefits of the advanced, robotic-assisted technology available to people having spine surgery at the AdventHealth Brain and Spine Institute.
Our highly skilled and experienced surgeons guide your procedures from beginning to end. They ensure that the latest technology will help you get on your feet again, feeling your best — all with the whole-person care that helps you heal.
- Tigertriever technology
-
AdventHealth is now using a new device called Tigertriever which enables it's neurointerventional radiologists to remove clots blocking blood flow to the brain that can cause ischemic strokes. It can manually adjust to match the size of the specific patient blood vessel, unlike conventional stent retrievers.
