- Brain Port Surgery

In a brain port procedure, the surgeon inserts a specially designed tube, called a neuroendoport, into the patient’s brain. A second tube attached to a camera, called an endoscope, is then entered into the neuroendoport. With this minimally invasive technology, the surgeon can see any region of the patient’s brain without interfering with the surrounding tissue.
- Endoscopic Brain Surgery

An endoscopic brain procedure gives the surgeon a better picture of abnormalities affecting the brain. By entering a tiny lighted camera, called an endoscope, into the patient’s skull, the surgeon can more accurately treat damage of the skull base, pituitary and pineal glands, and ventricles. This advanced and minimally invasive procedure makes surgery more precise, less risky and more comfortable for the patient.
- Endovascular Transsphenoidal Skull-Base Surgery

An endovascular transsphenoidal skull-base procedure is sometimes described as brain surgery through the nose. In this procedure, a surgeon inserts a tiny surgical device with a camera attachment, called an endoscope, through the patient’s nose to better visualize the problem area and remove tumors and other lesions within the skull. By choosing this minimally invasive procedure, patients avoid large incisions, which means less pain, faster recovery and no scarring.
- Endoscopic Microvascular Decompression

In an endoscopic microvascular decompression procedure, the surgeon treats brain and spine-related nerve pain by making a minimally invasive incision behind the patient’s ear. The surgeon then inserts a small tube attached to a camera, called an endoscope, into the incision to separate the impaired nerve from the blood vessel that’s causing damage.
- Neuro-Interventional Radiology

In neuro-interventional radiology, the surgeon combines minimally invasive surgery with radiographic images to more precisely see and treat damaged vessels within the brain and spinal cord. In this procedure, the surgeon guides a small tube, called an endoscope, toward the affected area through a small incision made in the patient’s brain. Signals from the device show clear pictures of the impairment, which informs the surgeon how to treat the problem area.
