About this Event
Whether this is your first birth or you’re adding to a growing family, our specialized team at The Baby Place is excited to support you throughout your pregnancy.
Childbirth Class - Session One: An informative class that focuses on understanding late pregnancy, the stages of labor and identifying signs of labor. Our team will help you understand the signs of when to leave for the hospital, and what to expect during the birth of your baby. They will also provide demonstrations and practice of labor-support measures. The first session includes insight into pain relief options in labor such as epidurals or IV pain medications, review of medical procedures in childbirth, including inductions and cesarean birth.
Our family- and patient-education programs are FREE resources to help your family prepare for labor, childbirth, the care of your newborn and breastfeeding. The Baby Place childbirth educators and registered OB nurses lead our FREE two-session childbirth course. You can choose to attend one or both sessions. Please register for each separately.
