AdventHealth Hendersonville offers Behavioral Health services specifically for patients of our Primary Care Providers. Through this innovative model of care, our board-certified psychiatrist works closely with our Primary Care Providers at three AdventHealth Hendersonville locations: Parkway Medical Group in Asheville, AdventHealth Hendersonville South Asheville and AdventHealth Hendersonville Laurel Park.

Our Primary Care Behavioral Health Providers care for established patients of AdventHealth Hendersonville Primary Care, who are 18 and older experience behavioral health concerns, including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and psychosis.

The professional team at AdventHealth supports emotional healing for women in our 12-bed unit that is dedicated to women only, ages 18 and older. Our brand new, women’s only 24-bed unit opened in Fall 2020.

Many insurance plans will cover all or part of the cost of hospital treatment programs. AdventHealth Hendersonville accepts all insurance plans including Medicaid. Discharge Planning services are provided for each individual that is specific to their needs including financial planning for services not covered by insurance.
